I was just thinking of what I did yesterday. And my answer was not much other than a little writing, reading, and hanging out with myself. After thinking about it for a minute, I decided it wasn't such a bad day after all.<br /><br />I know that I used to put myself down quite a bit. Sometimes it was to beat someone to the punch line, or maybe to keep myself humble, or maybe I just didn't think that much of myself. I like to think I've gotten better at it. I know maybe a ten years ago (when I was your age) a good friend of mine at work wouldn't put up with it. She'd give me a look or make a comment. So I'm sure that helped a little.
